Metallurgy & Steel
Industry
Steel production features harsh service conditions including ultra-high temperature, high pressure, dust erosion, acid-base corrosion and frequent thermal shock. Customized heat exchangers for this industry adopt floating tube sheets, wide flow channels, corrosion-resistant alloys and silicon carbide materials. Featured with anti-clogging, wear-resistant, thermal shock resistant and long-term stable performance, they perfectly match the non-stop high-intensity continuous production mode of steel mills.
Metallurgy & Steel
Heat exchangers are essential core thermal equipment throughout the whole metallurgy and steel production process, including sintering, coking, blast furnace ironmaking, converter steelmaking, continuous casting, hot & cold rolling, pickling and heat treatment processes. They undertake two key functions precisely. On one hand, they regulate the temperature of process media such as flue gas, cooling water, rolling oil and pickling solution, stabilize the forming quality of molten steel, and reduce defects like slab cracks and surface blemishes of steel products. On the other hand, they recover waste heat from high-temperature flue gas, slag flushing water and smelting waste heat to generate steam or preheat combustion air, cutting fuel consumption, carbon emissions and overall plant operating expenses.
